NKE NNF5005-2LS-V-2NR Zylinderrollenlager (25x47x30)

As a cylindrical roller bearing, this bearing carries high radial loads with limited axial capacity. This NKE bearing measures 25x47x30 mm and weighs 0.25 kg; the specification table carries the supplementary technical details. This variant features a contact seal. Line contact between roller and raceway spreads load along a line instead of a point, which is where the high radial capacity comes from.

Cylindrical rollers run between inner and outer ring on line contact, which yields markedly higher radial capacity than point contact at the same size. Axial guidance comes not from the raceway shape but from ribs: which rings carry ribs decides whether the bearing locates the shaft axially or, as a floating position, absorbs its thermal growth — in ribless versions the roller set simply shifts along the raceway without inducing constraint forces.

That is exactly what makes the type the usual choice for the second position of a long shaft that heats up. It tolerates misalignment poorly: angular error travels straight to the roller edge, so seats must be aligned, accurate in form and stiff enough. The contact seal bears against its counterface and closes the rolling chamber against dust, splash water and wash-out; in return it raises frictional torque and limits permissible speed.

The normal radial clearance recorded corresponds to the standard class and suits ordinary fits and temperature conditions.
