The OPTIBELT 5V1000 RP is a wrapped V-belt in section 5V (15N) to the US ARPM/MPTA standard, transmitting power by friction through its wedge flanks in the pulley groove. All three length datums at a glance: inside length Li 2,469 mm, datum length Ld 2,529 mm, outside length La 2,540 mm. When cross-referencing other brands, always compare the same length datum.

The cross-section measures 15.9 × 13 mm at a 40° wedge angle. Any V-belt of section 5V (15N) with datum length 2,529 mm is a drop-in replacement, regardless of brand. Key design data: minimum recommended pulley datum diameter 151 mm; weight 0.195 kg per metre.
