OPTIBELT 5V2240 RP Ummantelte Keilriemen

OPTIBELT 5V2240 RP — a wrapped V-belt, section 5V (15N) to the US ARPM/MPTA standard, for friction power transmission between two pulleys. All three length datums at a glance: inside length Li 5,619 mm, datum length Ld 5,679 mm, outside length La 5,690 mm. When cross-referencing other brands, always compare the same length datum. The cross-section measures 15.9 × 13 mm at a 40° wedge angle.

Any V-belt of section 5V (15N) with datum length 5,679 mm is a drop-in replacement, regardless of brand. Key design data: minimum recommended pulley datum diameter 151 mm; weight 0.195 kg per metre. The fabric wrap protects the tension cord against abrasion, oil and ozone — the robust standard for industrial drives (belt speeds up to about 30 m/s).

Permissible ambient temperature range: -30 to +100 °C. The cross-section matches the metric section SPB to DIN 7753-1 — always compare metric length datums when switching systems. Optibelt manufactures to the S=C Plus (SetConstant) length concept — an advantage when several belts run side by side.
